It does. Sometimes it does pay to go at ones own pace.

yeah, obviously there are exceptions (deadlines, time-based activities like marathons, etc.) but going at your own pace reduces fatigue for most i'd wager

there are of course exceptions to that, with the people who thrive on stress, but i'm not one of them

some days it would be nice to be like that though!

i have seen some people who literally make a living off doing things like seling coconuts out of a shack in hawaii

they were... fairly unwashed and their teeth were dying...

Oh god no. I couldn't live on a beach....sand just gets everywhere. But I'd be bored after like probably an hour.
