Yeah, I love SA2. Shadow is my favourite character, and I love it when they made the whole Team Dark, within Sonic Heroes.

i haven't played heroes, but i've heard good things, at least

to be honest, i think i stopped playing most sonic games after that

i tried out generations and that was kind of fun though

Yeah Heroes was good, like I said, I like the whole Team Dark premise. But yeah, there have been a few blips. Sonic Generations was good and Mania, but we shall see what the future has planned for him.

i've been meaning to pick that one up too

It's a realise throw back to the original games, which is nice.

sonic games were some of my favorite when i was real young, so if it's a throwback, that'd be pretty sweet

even if i couldn't beat chemical plant zone in 2, i still wanted to keep playing!

Flying Battery Zone always did me in

wondered why that one didn't sound familiar, i only ever owned 2 and 3, never managed to get knuckles for any more than a few days rental

Ah right. Yeah that was always my downfall. And possibly Marble Zone.

aha, yeah marble zone got me so often on 3

i don't remember how i got past it, but eventually i did and even got the final boss at one point... definitely lost there though

Yeah, it's like the Casino Level in Sonic and Tails always used to drive me insane.

i remember that one being frustrating too

also i think one of the best parts of the old sonic games was the music

as much as i hated chemical plant zone because i could so rarely complete it as a kid, the music was always great

icecap zone, green hill zone, metropolis zone, marble hill zone, oil ocean zone, all the robotnik themes, angel island zone, hydrocity zone, really all of them had some great tracks

SA2 had some really good ones too, i liked how catchy stuff like escape from the city was

Yes, I love some of the soundtracks. Even though the new Sonic Heroes isn't a bad game, some of the tracks for the levels are really really good.
