I'm definitely not over the top about N like some people are, but I did enjoy him as an antagonist, and think that he is one of the most developed characters in the series (not saying too much for Pokemon standards, but still).

Absolutely. I'm pretty much the same as you - his fans can be a bit overboard. I just like that he's a lot more multifaceted than most characters in the series.

I liked N a lot as a character - he reminded me a bit of Stephen actually, 'cept with more depth and prettier. ;P

But yeah I suppose his characters is alright, but I just didn't see the mass amount of fanfare he brought. But hey, that's just my opinion. Besides, I suppose every region has to have one person that people latch onto

Yeah, that's generally how it is, I suppose! There's always one, and it's often "the pretty one" that's young, but older than the protagonists.

Oh yeah. Now see I like Cynthia's character and the fact that she is a Champion that kick's ass. But yeah she's a very popular one amongst males.

I'm not a huge Cynthia fan, but she is my favorite champion (Lance comes really close), and one of my favorites among the 4th gen cast.

I honestly don't remember her much. I don't know what it is about Gen IV but it's the most forgettable gen for me. I actually only really remember her cameo in HGSS, and none of her actual main appearances in Diamond or Platinum (both of which I played).

My faaaaavourite champion would have to be... Wallace~

In all seriousness, I've never really had a favourite "champion" as such. I guess I like Lance and Iris, and Diantha was nice enough. None of them ever struck a chord with me, though. xD

I do love my Champions, but I did enjoy the 4th Gen, some really good things in that region. However, even though I do like Cynthia, as she is my second fav Champion, I do think she is being widely overused at the moment. I mean, she's practically been in every game since D/P apart from X &Y and ORAS. I mean come on, there are other characters out there too.

I liked Platinum, but it was mostly aesthetically. In terms of story and characters, I feel a bit bad that I just don't remember much past Rourke.

Aw bless. There are some good characters mind, but each to their own on their fav regions. Kalos is the region I don't remember much of. I do know the main characters, but past Viola's gym, mostly everything is a blur.

I also have a bit of difficulty with remembering Kalos, too. I'd attribute it to only remembering the series I played years later, but I played Hoenn after Sinnoh, and I remember Unova, too - so clearly not.

Must just be something in the formula that didn't click with me, I guess. I still enjoyed the games, regardless.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I love all the games, but there are certain things in certain regions that just make it memorable for different people. Like Hoenn for me and Johto more or less for you,
