I reckon that if I had to give birth I would take some time off, just the afternoon though. I'd be in on the morning to check emails, off to hospital to give birth, a couple of paracetemol for the pain and back for a late shift to catch up.

I explained this to my sister after she gave birth and she didn't find my comments helpful. In fact I think she threw something at me.

Ignorance is bliss... XD

Honestly though that's not how that works and I wouldn't be surprised if she did throw something at you lol...
