Although keep in mind it's also an old black and white Murican legal drama, so, you know, it's mostly devoid of the humor and zanyness that makes the PW games great.

Perry is like Phoenix if Phoenix wasn't a doofus.

i mean, i like law and order and it's mostly humorless because it fills with drama

but i like criminal intent and OG better than SVU, in which i am alone at

Yeah, I haven't seen much L&O, but what I have seen seemed decent, and it was always super serious.

law and order is alright, it's just it takes cheapshots at things sometimes and overall tries to make you feel like the police are uncorruptable in most episodes, despite how the blue shield runs so goddamned thick in real life

Did you ever watch NYPD Blue or Hill Street Blues*?

Those two can both get overly melodramatic, but they also do a better job of showing how police can be fucked up losers just like anyone else. Although they still mostly avoid making the main characters corrupt. The Shield showed more corruption, but I didn't like that show. I just wanted every character to get gunned down.

to be honest i've never watched a police drama

i could never get into them growing up on cable and always opted for like x-files or cartoons instead

i've heard nypd blue and the shield are not bad, but it's hard for me to commit to a show

i have like, four shows i'm watching currently that i can't be assed to continue watching without severe internal prompting

I really don't watch cop/detective/crime dramas either, those are some of the few I've seen. I actually watched NYPD Blue back when it was new when I was a kidlet. Which I shouldn't have been, but hey.

X-Files and cartoons are definitely 100 times better.
