I've seen those for sale, usually once or twice a year, always cost a small fortune. Akira and Robotech are my first two anime movies/series I remember so always wanted to do a cosplay from both of them.

Plus apart from the bazooka and making the jacket more than likely Kaneda is fairly easy. But Silk comes first as I've promised Willow I'd wear it to a BAGC this year and IF it's done and I can afford it wear it in the slave auction at ALCON.

The start date for Silk has been put back till after Christmas mainly due to Christmas spending and my car dying a few weeks back and having to sort/insure a replacement. But hey ho, has allowed me to do some more work on the plan of assembly, including fitting trainer bottoms to the feet of the body suit.

I'm worryingly tempted to do a Golddust cosplay, just youtube WWE Golddust and you will see why it could get freaky........

Thank you [mention=38103]whiscashgirl[/mention] hopefully starting at least one new project when Christmas is over, gender bender Silk first because I really want to do a home made cosplay not just bought and modded.

Plus my little girls a Spiderman groupie and loves having "Spiderman Side Kicks" when she goes to cons in her Spidergirl dress with me!

Ordered the first bits for my silk cosplay a black lycra body suit and a red snood for the mask. Now just got to talk to some of my advisers about how to sew white lycra onto the body suit.......

Base layers of Silk cosplay arrived, very snug and may need to sew snood to neck line, but otherwise good.

Now stage two white lycra layers with red patterning.

Ordered 2m of white lycra and a 1m of red each about 150cm wide through Amazon.

Fingers crossed its enough for Silk!

White Lycra arrived now to find someone better at sewing than me to help me sew many layers of Lycra!

Annoyingly my friend who was going to help me with sewing all the lycra together has had to pull out due to family issues, so advertised on Facebook for someone to help me with the work. Good news no rush as Silk isn't supposed to debut until Alcon anyway..........annoying because I wanted to do as much of Silk by myself even with someone standing over as possible!
