Wow that painting is absolutely stunning. You have mad skills. Did you use acrylic paint or is that digital? I can see a sort of canvasy texture but I wasn't sure. Love the colors in the sky and how the light is illuminating the clouds. The crashing waves are a nice touch.

Thank you very much Ioreth. This is an oil painting. It look much better photographed than it does in person to be honest, so I wouldn't go saying I have mad skills. This was all done using instructional videos by Bob Ross in the end XD

So modest ;) It really is a beautiful painting though. And of course, gotta love Bob Ross! What do you plan on doing with it? Are you the type to sell your work or frame it to decorate your walls? After seeing this, I'm inspired to try oil painting for myself. The colors are sublime.

Well, my husband really liked it and since he's into carpentry he plans on making a frame for it. Once it's dries I'll varnish and probably let my hubby hand it up somewhere. I have been contemplating selling my paintings, but that requires me to paint more often lol.

That's really handy you have a carpenter husband! I wouldn't mind seeing it framed, if you care to post a pic. There's something about a framed work of art that makes it feel more complete. I always say, if you can't find a proper means of display, you should look for one! Good art deserves no less. <3

So... after a very, very stressful week, here's some random painting practice.

I'm not really a person that critiques art, all I can really say is I love both of the paintings that you've done Moon. Would you ever consider selling them as prints? Cause the first one I would love to frame and put on my wall <3

I was actually contemplating it. I've been wanting to open my print shop on DA for a while, but I'm kinda nervous about doing it XD.
