Animation software on Linux for stop motion stuff?

Post by Rich-Allen1976 » 26 Sep 2025, 09:12

We use Dragon Frame on my course, but it's Windows exclusive and I have a Linux Desktop PC (Ubuntu), I know about and have used Blender, but that's for 3D modelling, I want something similar to Dragon Frame that can do stop motion animating.

Can anyone help? I am aware of Google and they have stop motion and Linux based PCs in North America.

I don't beee-lieve it!

Well it turns out Dragonframe itself IS compatible on Ubuntu, I've downloaded and extracted it but I can't get it to run.
