We watched the opening Ceremony last night, lots of very extravagant costumes and dancing and stuff, all celebrating the diversity of the world, no fighting or anything despite the fact the Sky was wetting itself all night.

Apparently the UK's already won a couple of Medals.

They've not yet added gladiatorial combat to the olympics, nor have they made steroids mandatory so I've not found a reason to watch.

Actually, the new series of Gladiators started taping at Sheffield Arena last week, we're going to the quarter finals on Friday
