New Panty & Stockings anime in the works?

At Anime Expo this weekend the staff from TRIGGER were very excited to announce that they have a new Panty & Stockings Anime Project in the offing.

With the rights reverting back to TRIGGER from GAINAX, the staff emphasised that the company could take the series in any direction they wanted, joking that they had enough material for 10 series, and a film.

The announcement was accompanied by a short trailer that contained a montage of clips from the original series and some tentative title art.
