I don’t consider this anime to be serious. It’s light hearted which so far has been appearing to me.

I don't think theres a single believable character in this.

Maple and Risa are one thing--passable without being good--but every other character has zero life to them.

It's still enjoyable, but without either plot or characters it raises questions as to the nature of value in salable entertainment in anime.

Well I’m hoping with the guild formation character development of the other characters will start to occur.

Still I don’t believe any in-depth character development of any of the characters will ever happen. The plot and characters are too casual for that.

However, the casual atmosphere is what makes this anime enjoyable.

So Maple got another super powerful skill. Now she has an arch angel ability.

Plus the two newest members got some nifty skills with Maple’s help.

Even the Veteran Great Shielder advanced with something of interest.

Their wizard got an awesome skill too.

That said only skills were gained this time around. No character development, boo. It was still fun

I think it was just lip matching for the dub.

Words are changed all the time and sometimes the original meaning is lost. It’s in general close enough.

I don’t recall a light sexual joke occurring in that scene. Bofuri isn’t that type of anime. So I don’t see why it even matters.

Further was just watching Freezing on Funi. This is an Ecchi and obviously so and it’s still there.

This is just an out lash of consumers based on the anime taken down from Funi which was obviously more than an Ecchi anime.

I rewatched it. She said ippai taerete yokatta deSHU, literally "I'm glad I endured so much." The slip was on the copula; it wasn't the slip that made it sexual if anything did.

I didn't think the verb taeru could also have a sexual meaning. You hear it a lot in anime, actually, but I've never heard it used sexually.

You know... I'm not seeing it. I'm not literate in japanese but I don't see anything on the first page that looks like it connects a sexual meaning to taeru.

So I'm thinking what it was was this: someone translated it as "I took a pounding but I liked its", which...isn't really a correct translation in the first place. Secondly, that has sexual connotation in english, which it didn't in Japanese as far as I can tell.
You know, honestly the funimation dub translation is more accurate than the sexualized sub translation.

And therefore this is a manufactured incident by a weeb who don't bother to consider whether the translation they got is accurate.
