Aww, poor lily
Did they extract the chipped tooth because it was causing pain?
or is it one of those, if chipped must go situations?
The vet did say that it was our decision about the tooth, but in his experience, chipped canine's frequently became infected, and then we would need a feline root-canal to clean out the infection. We waited until after Christmas and then booked her in. The X-ray revealed that the pulp had died, and an abscess was just starting to form at the base of the tooth, so we went ahead with the extraction.
To be honest, we had noticed small changes in her behaviour. Although she was eating just fine, she was constantly seeking reassurance and seemed subdued. Now that she is in recovery, her usual aloof self is returning.

That's good.
Expensive Vet Bills though, probably a good job you're still working/earning.
I don't beee-lieve it!

I'm intending to get to 2 AL cons this year. Newcastle and Sheffield.
Newcastle will be a quick trip up on Sunday only, with Sheffield being the full 2 days, before I shoot off for a short break afterward.
Maybe this year I can tear Mike away from his laptop to share a drink. See you there.
