New Journal!

Birthday was good for a Monday
Went to see My Neighbor Totoro, as part of GhibliFest2023
Work went okay
Still no news on if there's any changes happening with locations or job assignments
Tomorrow is my oldest friends birthday
For our shared bdays, going to see the DND movie on Sat with a group and then to the bar for drinks after
Should be fun!
Friday, might be helping with an event at my old school
They do this women in manufacturing event each year and I often help out by speaking to the kids as a grad of the program
It will make for a long day of no sleep, but always a fun little event

It's always annoying when they won't say if things are changing or not.

=====

SO TIRED
Worked my normal midnight shift
Then went to my old community college to be a speaker on a panel for women in manufacturing
They said it would go until 2pm (I normally sleep 8am-4pm) so I knew I would be TIRED
So I drank a ton of coffee when I got there
Then
They let us go early at about 11am
But I was too wired to sleep
Finally got to bed around 230pm
But woke up around 7pm feeling fully rested so I got up
Now it is only 3.5 hours later and I am already draggggggging
Still excited for DnD movie bday shenanigans tomorrow
But for now, TIRED

=====

Went in for dentist cleaning today
Aside from the tooth that last time they said we should watch, nothing else new has popped up!
Which is awesome becauseeeee
Had to have a lot of work done when I first got dental, mostly because of the fact that I had spent like 25 years without it/barely able to afford housing so i wasn't about to bother with paying out of pocket for anything not an emergency
Had a lot patched up, and this was my first check in since
So yeah, very glad nothing new, except the tooth we've been watching
That one, we are no longer watching
We will be removing and most likely replacing with an implant
Oh well

Had to wake up early for this appointment, which isn't bad
But I also woke up to a text from the pet sitter I hired for the end of the month
They cant do it anymore
Sooooooo time to try and find another one and kind of last minute
Boo

Saw the new pet sitter and fully booked her, yes.
Dad and his girl were....a thing. You sure don't get to pick your family ha
Did not make it to Jazz, was too exhausted
Instead I slept for almost 10 hours and then vegged out
Had a double DnD weekend, which was nice but tiring
Not much work this week at work, so was thinking of catching up on some shows
UNTIL I SOMEHOW HIT MY DATA LIMIT
sooooo no more of that until sometime tomorrow
So I have been reading instead
Hoping for there to be more work to do when I get in tonight
