Chinese New Year

Post by Ojisama » 22 Jan 2023, 19:49

Tonight is the Chinese New Year, with the Year of the Rabbit about to start.

As always, we are celebrating with home cooked Chinese food, fortune cookies and fireworks.

Ha ha. My cookie says that I will age gracefully. A bit late for that.
To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

Apparently my Chinese zodiac sign's the Dragon.

Which is kind of ironic as I used to call the head of the "Unit" at school "Dragon lady" :D
"He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!" (Michael Palin in Monty Python's "Life of Brian")
"I am speaking UK English in a Sheffield accent!" (Me most of the time I'm on the landline or mobile)
