Just poking my head back in. Just incase anyone has a quest 2...or any VR.

I've tried VR a couple of times at various comic cons, played some crap game called Beat Saber.

Wouldn't mind trying Batman VR or Star Trek Bridge Crew on PS VR though, if I could afford it I'd half consider buying a second hand PS4 with the VR headset and both those games but sadly I'm only Rich by name lol.
I don't beee-lieve it!

Completely agree with beat saber, however my other half loves it so I suppose its got a fan base out there.

I bought the quest 2 128gb when it was 300 and was quite happy/pleasantly surprises with the interface and graphics. Then I found out about air link and some of the games I've payed for can be played on pc. I've not gone back.

Seriously considering getting Espire 2 but I'm probably gonna wait until it goes on sale.

Didn't get chance to watch the Game Awards but I've seen a TikTok of reacting to the winners so managed to hear who won. Huge congrats to the winners

Bro be mad that Splatoon 3 won multiplayer game of the year over CoD MW2 and OW 2 XD tbh I'm glad because Splatoon seems to be one of the few multiplayer communities that are not toxic and talk down to new players. Also think God of War was robbed game of the year considering how many other awards it won... even though I haven't played it lol looks amazing though!

I saw footage of the Game Awards on Facebook, apparently the Sony fans are crying about Elden Ring getting Game of the Year! If it had been Xbox exclusive I could half understand, but it wasn't.
I don't beee-lieve it!

To me it sounded like it came from nowhere, based on overall award performance Elden Ring didn't sound near as deserving to win it.

Elden Ring wasn't even that good IMO, I preordered it on Xbox last year, a month later, I traded it in.

It would've been a toss-up from Elden Ring and God of War. Just from The Game Awards never really crown the big winner with such a brand-new title. Elden Ring does have its qualities especially when it comes to the art design. I believe it won over God of War because people still talk about it now even though it came out in February. I just don't think God of War had the time to do that word of mouth.

Calling anyone with a Epic Games account you can claim a free game today you have until 4pm tomorrow! Just generally keep an eye out because I think they are giving away a game for free everyday until Christmas or something like an advent thing

Elden Ring won the Game Awards last week, and the Sony fans have been having meltdowns about it ever since, which I could half understand if ER was Xbox exclusive, but it was on PS4 as well so what's the problem?

I think now that Mel explained it a bit more it does make a bit of sense of why Elden Ring won. God of War was released in November, which compared to Elden Ring didnt really leave a lot of time for it to make a huge impression. I feel like in the past that kind of pattern has shown its ineffectiveness. This is a bad example but an example nonetheless but take Cyberpunk from last year. I do believe they kinda rushed it to release just in time for the Game Awards hoping to get something and it just flopped. Ofc many other things caused it to not do great in the Awards last year hence why i think its not the best example but i digress. As Mel pointed out, Elden Ring was released towards the start of the year and still right now its getting a lot of attention and highly rated.

Of course Sony is gonna cry about it because its a massive company and apparently big companies are supposed to win all the awards (insert sarcasm here). It might also be the case that since Elden Ring has some similarities with the Dark Souls franchise and with Dark souls also being very popular that it would have swung the vote anyway

I was hoping more for GoW but they were very even, fans shouldn’t be upset over awards that are never guaranteed
