It was interesting how on New Years Eve one of my housemates got covid. I got nothing, not even on a lateral flow test - vaccines and prior immunity are driving us forward out of this and honestly we got nothing to fear.

A few hours ago I went into B&Q and saw a discount hand sanitizer - seems no one wants them anymore. This is good, we're finally returning to normal. And not a new normal, but simply - Normal. I, like most of you have taken all three now. Enough is enough (I can confirm this will be my last one), so let's get on with it. No masks, no laws, nothing - simply guidance and choosing your own level of risk. You make your OWN choices - this is what freedom (something long forgotten over the last two years) and your own personal choice is.

England is one of the most free countries in the world right now - and I am tremendously proud of this fact! We should value this and now start looking toward the bigger issues long-term that has been caused by Covid and of course also these restrictions in their own right.

ughhh London was awesome but I'm so tired....honestly never been so exhausted from a convention. 11,000 people throughout the weekend and we had to turn people away. Deffo improvements made to make it better because I feel I wasn't able to enjoy the convention and speak to people so if I did speak to you and I was stand offish it wasn't personal I was just stressing and so exhausted.

I've never been ill from a convention before, but I had to take a few hours on the Sunday just to get better and sleep.

Still was a good experience though

Now that the dust has settled, I can confirm that we had over 10,500 unique people attend London Anime & Gaming Con last weekend, maxing out the expanded venue over four floors on BOTH days. Our previous record was 6,000 last July - a massive-massive increase!

The event was definitely a *lot* of work, and our team is still recovering, but just like to put out a massive thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, as well as a massive thank you to everyone who attended. Here's to the next one shortly!

Unfortunately it seems Putin is the next Hitler.
And he's going to drag all my Russian friends (two of which are on my senior staff team, and who are VERY anti-Putin) into it.
I'm really upset by all this. I don't even know what we can do here, as WW3 would be THE END, but we need to do a bit more than now surely?

Slowly getting there with the new bathroom - it's starting to look very nice! Ought to be complete by end of tomorrow.
