BUT THATS THE POLITE THING TO DO LOLINLolinSnowAngel wrote: ↑10 Dec 2021, 23:10I feel like greeting cards were more popular in a culture that wasn't online and connected 24/7. Email killed it, text chat killed it, voice chat killed it, video chat killed it. We just have so many other ways of interacting now that it's pointless to even send a card out. I like getting cards but what am I going to do with one three months down the road? I can't hang onto it forever, can I?
You keep it. Foreeeveeeerrr.

Actually I do keep all the cards my grandma gives me because I know she won't around forever and I won't be ok when she dies.
My parents, though, theirs goes straight into the trash. Not because I'll be ok when they die...because, I suppose, I'll be a different person when they do so I'm not the one that has to deal with that. Don't question my logic.
