Channel Update? (I don't think these are going to be regular things I post.)

Since today is the one month mark, I'm really happy to say it's been a pretty successful launch of the channel. Overlord Arcade is doing pretty good, and I've been able to manage daily uploads, which I wasn't sure was going to be possible. But so far, things are pretty manageable, the process is tons of fun, and there are plenty of series on the horizon.

With any luck, I'll be able to start developing some side projects soon, but I need time to allow it, haha. As it is, there is a definite limit to free side time, between work, errands, recording & editing, and just personal downtime. But I feel very lucky that I got to stamp this benchmark down during the first Crash Bandicoot run. It was always something I wanted to record, and while it may not have been the smoothest journey from start to finish, it was definitely an absolute blast. That said, I don't think I'll be posting the videos on AL anymore, as I think that has some weird impact on the YouTube algorithm, confusing it? Call it an experiment, but this will be the last social media post for a video, for a while at least. If you're not subscribed, I guess think about subbing if you want any further updates? If you want actual, legit updates and such, there's always that little bell thingy 🛎

Saturday's episode isn't even up yet, and it already has a copyright claim, ffs. I can't predict when a game will randomly have licensed music in it, especially if I don't know its a licensed song

So far, I'm far off from monetizing, but this is a real pain in the ass. Now I have an ad on the video, and I have to send every cent of that to the song artist. I don't have the time to split the audio and re-record just some bloopy bullshit song over it. This really annoys me...

Well... spooky games aren't doing so well on the channel. Maybe I'm too new to do themed stuff. Lol, doing thumbnails for one-off episodes has kind of been hell for me, so overall it wasn't super productive to do Halloween themed stuff. Maybe that will pick-up over the weekend, but it's been a good learning experience for me so far
