Super Smash Bros.
Just did some research and it looks like there won't be a "Pro" version of the switch with upgraded hardware. Which is disappointing, if I can get 4K resolution on my phone surely Nintendo can get a console to do the same.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Nice, I'm waiting on news of a "Pro" version of the switch then buying one.
Yea, pretty lame tbh. 720p resolution, no performance upgrades and costs more than an Xbox Series S. I was hoping they'd be releasing something with 4K Native or at least 1080p. Don't get me wrong an OLED screen is a nice bit of tech but considering that's the only upgrade to an already underpowered lackluster machine it's not worth the money.
I will be getting a switch there are a few games I'd like to get into but I'll probably get one second hand of they aren't bringing out something with decent spec.
Oh yeah I definitely agree it's not that impressive, but yeah I think with OLED being announced that we're definitely not getting a pro nowNishizono Shinji wrote: ↑04 Aug 2021, 22:03Just did some research and it looks like there won't be a "Pro" version of the switch with upgraded hardware. When Nintendo released the New (read: NEW) 3DS line, it caught a lot of flack. That's probably why we both did'nt have very many N3DS games and why we likely won't have a Switch Pro.
(That and the Tegra graphics boards they have in them were probably on a fire sale because NvIDIA wanted to get rid of all of them)

N3DS was a disaster, just like the DSi. All the updated consoles they release are usually naff, and only worth getting if you dont have an original, definitely not worth the upgrade

I mean I got a N3DS and I'm real happy with that purchase, but I can definitely understand someone not wanting to shell out for it

The N3DS had better performance no? Hence why Xenoblade could be ported to it as its only exclusive lol. And then ofc it had that nipple for a 2nd stick.
Back on topic tho, no one told me there was gonna be a smash tournament at LAGC

If you're thinking of playing more competitive, a good ruleset for local multiplayer is:
3 stock
7 minutes
Items set to none
Stage Hazards set to none
Stage selection set to Random
Random stage selection limited to:
Final Destination
Battlefield
Small Battlefield
Yoshi's Story
Smashville
Town & City
Lylat Cruise
Pokemon Stadium 2
Kalos Pokemon League
Northern Cave (DLC)

Thanks for the info, as to there ‘where’ all I was thinking was a private online multiplayer of smash bros with others from AnimeLeague I may take some planning but I guess the first stage would be to have a like of member who would like to join on a private multiplayer session, so watching some Nintendo YouTube video regarding smash multiplayer I would assume that it will be the battle arena mode, anyway my nickname is AnimeManic Friend code: SW-7382-1146-5621
