nm. had to deal with idiots who decided last night was a good time to light off illegal fireworks at 11pm last night triggering my husbands combat PSTD (as well as the other combat vets that live in this complex) so I had to call the cops in order to have the legal proof in case the complex decides not to do anything about it.

its just really bothersome. I get that fireworks are cool and all but like... at least use them responsibly. And maybe not at 11pm in the middle of an apartment complex near a military base.

It's a holiday weekend so I bet they'll be doing more in the next two days. Fireworks are illegal in the city limits here. I have t heart a thing yet.

dude ok:

so for months and months we have been reporting this kid that lives in our building who has been smoking cannabis in the laundry room. Dude he is in there smoking every day. We report it all the time. The property management says "call the police" and we do, the cops cant really do anything about it because cannabis is decriminalize HOWEVER there is an indoor clean air act that means not only is it illegal to smoke INSIDE A BUILDING but its also against the lease. So we get like a weird run around. The management says call the police, the police say talk to the management. Like im about to get their corporate company involved.

ANYWAY~

within the last 24 hours this kid has forced the window to the LOCKED laundry room open (we have watched him do it before) and then glued the lock on the door to the open position. With elmers glue like an idiot. I do my nails all the time and also work with glue and craft things a lot. SOOOOOOOOOOOO I am walking inside from smoking (a cig) and the lady from upstairs (an elderly nurse) goes "hey, did you see what they did to the door? its glued shut! I told the maintenance man and he said there was nothing they could do about it."

I was like OH BITCH ITS MY TIME TO SHINE!!!! I have acetone. And guebegone, and the pink stuff, and isopropyl alcohol. AND TOOLS!!!! So I go inside, get my shit go out there and fix the lock. Lock the door and the window and shut it. I then called the office who wanted me to send an email (which is did) but this is now property damage bitches. Not only does this kid pose a health risk to those who live in the units near the laundry room (my husband is allergic, the toddler across the hall has RSV and sever asthma, and im just sick of my apartment smelling of weed), but NOW he is doing property damage! BINGO! We are about to be using the bitch be gone on this kid.

like I feel bad. He seems like he is a good kid but ffs!
