So, what have you done so far with your house(s)?

I have a small shack next to spawn in Dark Oak, takes up 4x4 space. Inside, there's a furnace and a crafting table (among others), and a trap door leading to chests and a bed. I've also created an inclined mine and found a mineshaft.

My main house is in the middle of a small lake in the shape of four short towers, in which I've made some green rooms to grow necessary crops. I've also managed to put an enchanting table surrounded by bookcases.

My main room has a wall of chests, a small pond (handy when you're on fire), a bed, an auto-furnace, furnace, and crafting table. I've yet to decide what to do with the other rooms.

So what are you doing?

Nice! I use pumpkins as the poor man's glowstone for so many things, so it's one of the things I start to farm right away.

Nice! I've noticed that if I start digging down far enough, I run into a mineshaft. How about you?

actual mineshafts scare me i just like my dug out area XD

Many times I dig out underneath my builds to farm, so best to have a lot of blocks on hand, as well as torches, ladders, and dirt blocks. Still, it would be fun to make an old-school rpg dungeon. Makes me wish I could use Spectator mode.
