Oh hey, do any of you listen to your own music while playing a game? Like, turning the BGM all the way down in the game's settings and playing your own instead but keeping the sound effects and dialog volume up?

Depends on the game, some have amazing soundtracks in their own right, other games use soundscapes in reality interesting ways and it's important to pay attention to them. But in a word yes there are some games where I like to play my own music and just have sound effects from the game on.
