At one part in the video, they talk about skulk - dark blocks that you can see is spreading through the grass, not unlike how grass can take over dirt blocks and mycelum will take over grass and dirt blocks. But it reminds me of tainted soil from the modded Infinity Evolved pack - and tained soil can take over if unchecked, destroying villages and anything in its path. It also have its own mobs, and can contaminate other mods, making even peaceful mobs hostile.

I'm hoping this isn't the same.

oh? I'll have a look at that. I was going to say the Minecraft server was on standby till christmas but I'll have a look tonight

51.89.152.189:25610 was the address. Perhaps it's the other that's going to be the Christmas server.

Just a note, there is a Tardis plugin for Minecraft. Just sayin'.

I have visited the server just now and it is back on Survival and I don't have any permissions so I'll ask Steven sometime this week what he's up to with it haha
