It's like every bishi in a male harem having one quirky characteristic by which you can claim them unique, each boy in this show has their own mommy or daddy issues.

I'm surprised Kana-nya went to Sakurai-sensei. I wonder what made her think he was cool and be able to do something with her feelings that she hides so ardently from everyone else. I don't remember her being present whenever he was cool. I wonder if she got some indication of his character from the boys. Maybe she associates the boy's 'stupidity' with him. I don't think it's out of place; there's plenty of reasons, I just don't know which one it is.

In any case, good for her.

Pity we didn't get to see Sakurai sensei's response though.
