The GBA versions are still my favorite way to play I/II/IV/V/VI.

Not that I enjoy playing any version of II.

Got an email to return to FFXIV for free for 5 days... I know what I'm doing over the Christmas break ;) Been wanting to get back in to MMOs for a while and I thoroughly enjoyed FFXIV so time to make an elaborate return me thinks ;)

Yeah there's a bunch of patches if you haven't played in a while, but once done it works fine. I know there's another patch coming up but the biggest ones aren't till next year.

I felt like 7, 8 and 9 were very romantic. For instance in 7 the lead character meets up with a flower girl, a childhood friend he made a promise with, and a material girl always after her spoils. And for the most part people assume Cloud loved Aerith, or Tifa, but I don't think it was made completely clear who he did love. And since they added so much more like AC it pushes ideas of him and Tifa being a maybe. And that's just 7. 8 is deeply romantic as well. Even 9 was goofy and fun like that. Now that I think about it the whole series is pretty romantic lol.

shockingly... I actually don't like FF games. I don't really get the hype over any of them. I've tried to get in to a few of them, just they never clicked for me :/
