It's not the military show I had hoped for either. It has some tactics but they're lukewarm and mostly sensational rather than critical.

But it has much more culture than I anticipated and I really appreciate that. The struggle between christianity and traditional beliefs is one of the most dominant themes.

Assuming the story and the motives he explained are true, it's another reason to keep Thorfinn alive. Maybe Thors didn't hate Denmark, but he was certainly not a fan of what they (the kingdom, not the people of course) did.
