Glad to hear that something better came along... I wish you luck!... :3Elgood81 wrote:Bad news i'm afraid, I got a phone call this morning from the landlord of the flat that I was suppost to be viewing tomorrow telling me that unfortunately my viewing was cancelled because the flat has been let. I'm guessing someone beat me to the punch and flashed cash in the landlords face. It's not a total loss though because I found a double room to rent on the flatsharing website I use that's 10 mins away from work (by car) and the best bit is it's £125 cheaper a month than the room I'm in now but it's the same size. Going to view it Monday evening and I know this time I won't lose it to someone else because the room isn't actually available till the 1st of November. Fingers crossed

well folks, I’ve done myself a mischiev. Had a training session and then booked for a Halloween gimmick show. Was booked into a tag match. During the match I’ve somehow managed to blow out my right knee. When I got home last night it was very swallen so I iced it. Today I can hardly bend it and it’s made walking around difficult. Hopefully it’ll be okay in a couple days but if it’s not a trip to the doctors is in order.

Oh no! Are you going to be able to go to the viewing tonight?

Hey guys, so a little update from me, we moved houses last saturday. The new house doesn't have internet at the moment. (so I'm writing this from the old house because one of the flatemates wasn't ready to move with the rest of us and we had till the 31st to vacate the property so the internet is still connected there) We're expected to be connected on the 1st of november. My room isn't as small as I expected it to be after all, it's a fair size and has a walk in wardrobe but the doors of the wardrobe are mirrored glass and I really don't like looking at myself in mirrors (maybe I'm a vampire or something lol)
Monday I got into serious trouble at work. I was dragged into the office for a disciplinary hearing because i'd misused asda's social media policy and their mobile phone policy. Basically I'd sent a picture to Instagram from my checkout while i was on shift and commented on the picture that i was "stuck on another boring shift".It's not something i'd normally do but my head has been all over the place recently and stress was building up until it finally broke free like that. Luckily they saw fit not to sack me but instead gave me a 1st written warning that stays on my file for 6 months and I've lost half my bonus pay in February. the fact that i misused mobile phone policy was swept under the carpet because I'm not the only one that had their mobile phone on the shop floor and some of the duty managers have been doing it as well.
And that's about it for what's going on with me at the moment. I'll be back online as soon as the net is connected at the new house.

See you back soon. And let's hope your situation improves!
Re: Lets Nep things up, Elgood style!
I have never once used mainstream social media to post anything about work.
Granted, I don't use much mainstream social media anyway.
But still. Might be wise.

It's a good thing you got off lightly with work. Could have been much worse.
Re: Lets Nep things up, Elgood style!
Aaaaaand I'm back!
The only problem is that I currently don't have a desk for my pc. My old desk fell apart when we moved and my landlord (i call him my landlord cos he sorta is, but in actuality I'm his lodger) said he was going to get me a new desk and a new chair. The chair has arrived but no sign of the desk yet. Its a really nice chair and possibly a bit too fancy for a computer chair. it's a black leather reclining chair. It's amazing to sit on and doesn't pinch the back of my legs like the old one did. At the moment I'm writing this out with my screen, keyboard and mouse on top of one of my dressers (I have 2, my TV and Playstation 3 is on top of the other one) It'll work untill the desk arrives and at least i'm back on the forums and stuff[/color]
