I don't know, you decide. I was just annoyed how naive it became. Yeah, "naive" is the right word I think.

I came here to find out how many episodes it took yall.
My instincts for anime are occasionally mistaken. But not usually.

OK, I will try to spoil only as much as is absolutely necessary just in case you wanted to watch it after all.
This is just an example of course. The reason why I dropped it is a combination of all smaller things, so this example was not the sole reason, but it will give you the idea.
So there will be a situation when a kid character X will go to talk to a character Y who is the boss of the secret group who actually governs the city in secret. You know, you can imagine what some people think free masons are or something, or cosa nostra etc. So the kid X just goes to talk to the boss Y. He makes threats. The boss listens to him. The kid asks the boss to give the kid all power. The threats are that he would expose the organisation to the public, if he didn't come back. It's not explained how he would do it. That's all he has. Before it was shown many times that the organisation controls the media as well. It also uses violence freely with no consequences for it. The boss listens. The boss decides that they will explain EVERYTHING about the organisation to the kid and he will be able to join, or something like that. Just to remind you, the organisation controls: media, the police, politicians, major companies (At least that's how I understand it. I don't remember exactly which of these were stated explicitly, but I think all of them were at one point or another.)
Yes, expose all the secrets of your powerful organisation to a kid. Good luck with that. Maybe also let him have an important function in it. Because. Who knows, maybe he will become a boss later…
No, the kid is not one of those genius kid characters or anything like that. He has emotional issues and is a bit unstable. He doesn't seem trustworthy to me.
The things start to go down the closer you are to the end. You can check my posts above for a record when exactly.
Of course it is possible that this wouldn't bother you and you would enjoy this show after all. Who knows…

Another one:
This is the whole plot of one of the episodes:
1. An idealist guy wants to meet humanoid monsters.
2. He meets a humanoid monster.
3. They talk. The guy is explaining his ideals.
The attachment saitama_ok.jpg is no longer available
4. Things happen in the meantime elsewhere.
5. The guy dies.
