to be fair...if it's a free game, i don't mind microtransactions... it helps the developers... but games you have to pay for and then they try and milk you for me.. NOPE

Warframe does this perfectly the game is free but you can buy in game currency for things like character skins etc

Yeah this is something that some games do really great and others just.. yikes.

Mobile wise games like Love Nikki and Pokemon Go do it really well, where you NEVER have to buy anything to make progress, it's just optional, but there's a lot of mobile games that are terrible for it.

PC/Console wise we have stuff like loot boxes, which I love but I can /kind of/ see why people are beginning to complain about them being addictive

I want an Etrian Odyssey game to be announced for Switch. One of EO's things is drawing a map of the dungeon and I'm curious as to how they will handle it on Switch since it only has one screen.
