I'll never understand why Berserk fans gets so salty and butthurt over a title. So what if they're both called "Black Swordsman" but then the anime fanbase can't exist without SAO being dragged into Isekai discussions or Kirito getting dragged into Swordsman/protagonist comparisons. The hate is getting tiring TBH

To be fair, there was that whole thing with Sachi's group before their brains were turned into scrambled egg juice by the VR headset because they had died in-game, but yes, I do agree Guts would likely beat Kirito in a fight.

He's a Gary Stu power fantasy. In the framework of Sword Art Online it makes sense, but yeah it is hard to regard Kirito in pretty high standing as his conflicts are so minimal.

Ohh... I'm sorry that you read my comment to the meme Natalia posted as being salty and butthurt [mention=72923]Kai[/mention]. It's cos Guts is quite a brutal character I said this.
Although I do like Berserk more than SAO, I like both Guts & Kirito really. I would actually be interested to see a fight between the two blackswordsmen, like [mention=881]omfgzergrush[/mention] said, their styles of fighting are different.
