What if she's not though? Then your relationship would be built on lies.
"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."
Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918
So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.
Well I didn’t want to say anything incase I jinxed it but I went out on a date tonight and, shock horror the girl actually turned up. Took her to Wagamama in Norwich for something to eat. And then being a gentleman And so she didn’t have to wait for the bus I gave her a lift home. It was a nice date and we talked about a lot of things. She’s not into anime though. I think I’ll see her again but I’m not sure, We’ll just have to wait-and-see.
Although I did get a kiss at the end of the date.

I think where I'm coming from is, not literally saying it everyday because yeah that might get annoying for the gf, what I mean is a true bf would let his gf know how important she was to him, that he would never take her for granted, never forget their anniversary, always be there when she needs him, he would always be trustworthy, kind, honest and reliable, that sort of thing

Yeah, that's important. But it's not only men's duty to be like this
