Crafting help needed for Mum

I have the attached wings, they came a few weeks ago, but they want altering a bit to fit me.

Basically, the tie on the shoulders isn't wide enough to fit my 16'5" neck and rather broad shoulders, I've bought some Velcro from Poundland last week, about 2.5 meters of it, and Mum says it's too much, we only need a few scraps.

Can anyone help? I've posted the same question in the Crafting sub on Reddit, no response yet.

With the velco is it just velcro or is it like the salotape stuff that you can cut?

It's 2 packs of 2.6M of Velcro, which I bought from Poundland last week.

I ordered some black tape on Amazon last night, to be delivered between 13.15-16.15 today.

Unfortunately not.

However, I bought virtually the same thing on Amazon (which was considerably cheaper and doesn't need altering to fit)

Maybe go with the ones that don't need the altering? Altering looks like a pain with those sadly

Well she's managed to alter them this morning, and they fit perfectly, I'll try and get some pics up at some point before Sunday.
