Welcome to the sign up and competition page of this year's AL Birthday Event (how exciting!). This year, myself and the rest of the arts team have TWO events lined up one is the one you have clicked on right now, the fancy dress competition and the second will be a Build-a-Birthday-story event where the link to that will be posted...once I make it XD

So... fancy dress! Who doesn't love a bit of dressing up for a birthday party?! Here's how its going to work:

Sign ups are open NOW! So comment down below if you fancy taking part! I will then allow submissions on the week starting on the 22nd February, at this point I will mention anyone who has signed up to remind you all to place a submission. Submissions will close at the end of VAGC on the 28th February, after that I will not judge any late comers.

Once you have signed up think of and prepare a fancy dress outfit to submit here on this thread. It can be anything you wish- it can be a silly onesie or maybe a old cosplay outfit you has stashed under the dusty corners of your bed, I don't know! Once you have your costume, take a pic and post it below on this thread with a quick description of what your costume is. I will be judging entries on two main things: 1) How relatable the costume is to the theme (basically just add some birthday aesthetic and you are good to go!) and 2) The funniness of the picture- obviously the picture needs to look fun, its a fancy dress birthday!

I will be awarding prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and prizes include the following:
