Weekly Anime Drawing Tutorials!

Welcome to this new thread where every Tuesday I will be posting new anime drawing tutorials for people to try! Whether you rarely seen a sketchpad in your life or a drawing veteran who is looking to pick up a slightly different style (if anime drawings are not your thing) this thread is for all to join in!

It is super simple, all you have to do is take a look at the video and then have a go yourself :) Once you have followed the tutorial post your finished drawings below. This isnt a competition, just a fun weekly activity to keep you occupied and hopefully to gain a nice skill from it.

Without a further ado, I give you the first tutorial- Luffy from One Piece! Enjoy and I can't wait to see your attempts :D

Deadline: 9th February

I guess it does look a bit like the tutorial doesn't it? hahaha thanks! It was actually super simple. Gave me a few tips anyway- I often go face first then face features but doing inside then working your way out is a lot easier

Morning guys! It is another Tuesday which means its time to give you the second tutorial video for you to try. If you want to try previous tutorials, feel free but please state which one you attempted just to make this thread a wee bit easier to manage :sweatdrop:

This week's drawing has a little bit more of a cartoony style to it compared to last week and its very well explained :D Enjoy!

15 min...

well.. got bored, but here is the result. I'm not that big into "reproducing" anymore. Been studying a bunch of theory, so "freestyling" like the person in the vid did... I dunno.

Welcome back to the tutorial of the week! This week here is a tutorial on how to draw Asta from Black Clover! This tutorial uses a frame and markings which is great for those starting out on drawing as it ensures high accuracy if you are not too comfortable freehand or if you are a stickler for evenness like myself :P

I would say that you can modify your attempt by skipping the markings to see if you can produce the drawing freehand but its up to you how you want to do it :)
