12 Days of AL-mas! [CHRISTMAS EVENT]

Welcome to our Arts, Cosplay and Writing Christmas event, the 12 days of AL-mas!

What is it?

As you might have guessed, 12 days of AL-mas is inspired by the 12 days of Christmas only this event is in true AL arts style!

How does it work?

Every day for the first 12 days of the event a new art challenge will be posted for you to join in. All of these challenges will be Christmas themed in some way. Some challenges are tailored to all the arts, some are more specific so please check back regularly to see which challenges you want to do!

You can do as few or as many challenges as you wish but once you complete one, post evidence of your completion on this thread.

Day 1 will be coming up on 1st December!

Day 1

On the first day of AL-mas the Arts mod team give to you....

A Winter Wonderland!

Challenge:

To create a drawing or piece of writing inspired by the idea of a winter wonderland! Think snowy scenes or your fave gaming/anime/literary characters in wintery clothing or anything else wintery weather related! You can use any form of drawing medium and forms of writing can be poetry, a descriptive piece or even a wintery fan fiction

Day 2

On the second day of AL-mas the Arts mod team give to you...

An afternoon of Christmas baking!

Challenge:
To bake your favourite Christmas treat, as simple as that! Since this is an arts challenge though, decorations are encouraged so be sure to get creative with them

Think mince pies, gingerbread men, gingerbread house if you are feeling adventurous!

My mum bakes cakes as a lil business and shes been doing christmas cakes so might take a pic of those later!

An Christmas film marathon!

Challenge:
Its that time of year again guys! Time to whack out those classic Christmas films. This challenge is all about showing off anything about your favourite Christmas film! Think cosplaying, drawings, or for any calligraphers out there- maybe some fancy artwork around your favourite Christmas film quote

Basically any art form is welcome!

Day 4

On the fourth day of AL-mas the arts mod team give to you...

A visit from Santa's Little Helpers!

Challenge:
Great for those who think they have been naughty this year- I want to see your best elf drawings! I am then going to use these pictures as bribes to the elves and convince them and Santa that you are nice really :3 You know the drill! Any art style is accepted! Looking forward to seeing them guys!

I've basically put a mention list out to those who either I know use the section, used it recently or people who I think might be interested. Obvs just ignore this or reply below if you dont wish to get involved, you are not obliged but it won't hurt XD On the flip side if I have missed anyone that might want to do this do mention them- want to get more people seeing this but dont want to send the whole of AL potentially unnecessary notifications lol

Havent done any baking so i couldnt do day 2 but day 1 is still a work in progress
