June Art/Writing Prompt Activity - WEEK ONE!

Hi All!
I have an idea for the next few weeks, okay okay this month of June!
I’ve seen this prompt from the good folks of Arteza (a art supplier, they make paints, colored pencils, markers, you name it they have probably already made it!) and figured we could use these to get our creative minds going.
This is in no way sponsored by Arteza, just a fan of their products.
THIS IS THIS WEEKS PROMPT, a new one will begin next Monday!
WEEK ONE—— PRIDE!!
This has multiple meanings, Pride can be for the Pride flag, showing Pride for your family, your self-esteem, anything!! (Could even mean a pride of Lions 
)
Post up your drawings, GFX, art of many forms, along with writing in this thread, I’m sure cosplay can work itself into that prompt too!! Everyone is encouraged to join it, no matter your skill!
I can’t wait to see what you all have created!!

Just a little poem.

Eighteen and Bulletproof
He's eighteen and bulletproof,
Eager to find his way.
Struck out from his parents' house
It's too hard to obey.
The plan was to find himself
In a familiar place,
Surrounded by bygone friends
To help him in this race.
But the most important thing
To him was leaving home
Father's pride got in the way,
His only choice: to roam.
Years go by and he makes it
He's living day by day.
Renting a room with his friend
Struggling each month to pay.
When it came time to renew
The lease, his friend backed out
Said he needed his own space
Our man was left in doubt
There's no way he'd make ends meet
Alone and on his own
One choice left: choke down his pride
And ask to move back home.
Of course his father welcomed
Him back under their roof.
But his pride's hurt and he looked
For the next way to prove
That he's still a man, that he
Could make it in this world.
Prospects dim, he knew he had
To sign up, give his word.
He'd proudly defend the flag,
A military man.
Found a place to forge himself
And allow himself t'stand!
Time marches on and tempers
A young man's foolish pride
And responsibility
and discipline provide
A means to build a new life--
A way to grow himself.
He slows down, he falls in love.
He finds himself a wife.
They grow t'gether and they give
Life to a baby girl.
The pride which drove him on
No longer seems to matter
When he gazes, proudly,
Into th' eyes of his daughter.
