In your first post, they are absolutely stunning- the art pieces. It's a technique that I have seen a few university students did at the university I attend. It looks really amazing. Keep at it. :)

Oh wonderful - i've never tried pouring myself as I don't have many paints as I focus more on printmaking when it comes to traditional media. But it does look like a very fun process!

It comes across to me as a good technique because anybody can do it and join in - but it takes a lot of talent to continuously produce beautiful ones like your work <3

I prefer the one on the left more than the one on the right. I think it is the colours that are super striking, or should I say... it contrasts really well. Well done. :)

I think the first one (purple/green) is aesthetically pleasing while the second (bright green) is braver and more energetic. The formula I have for creating an aesthetically pleasing piece is much easier than creating something unique and abstract. I find that while using this medium you can embrace mistakes and have happy accidents occur that in some cases provide excellent results. The second piece provokes thoughts of LSD, Acid, and Flashbacks while the first piece is just kind of pretty. (For me anyway) Personally, I was unhappy with both of them but over time they appear to have grown on me. Thanks for the feedback. :)

edit:update.

What I did today: --
Uh so I absolutely butchered a canvas because I use too much black paint. I was using the remainder of my paint anyway so the colour scheme was a little off to begin with but it came out really terrible so I ended up painting straight over it. First is before second is after. :o hno: :o hno:
