Hi everyone!

So thanks to a lot of positive feedback, I’ve started to once again resume my artistic side. So this will be my thread to show these things.

I do have some previous work, so I will post them too.l, when I find them.

So, without further ado, here’s what I was working on today; not quite finished yet, because I’m thinking of adding a few more Pokemon to it. But this is the present picture.

oh man, do you do these all in pen?

that's even more impressive, considering you can't erase or set up framework for your art

i love the hoenn trio, especially groudon, and you made it look great here!

They look so great! The proportions are really good, good job!

I wish. Nah...I drew them in pencil at first, but then I went over the lines with a fine liner pen to make the lines clearer.

Yeah as you can guess, Hoenn is my favourite region, but I love the weather trio. I like them all but I probably would say Rayquaza is my favourite.

I am thinking of adding Latios and Latias to the picture too.

Thank you GraceMellody!

aw, that's cool too, doesn't make it any less impressive

pencil's pretty important for a lot of art, at least i feel like it is

do you plan on shading or coloring them once you're finished?

Yeah, I'd love to actually draw in pen, but I keep changing things.

Thanks, surprisingly Rayquaza was the one that took the least time. Weird that, when I felt that Kyogre has the least detail lol.

I'm thinking about it. Or I may scan it in, and then colour the scanned copy.

Thanks. I may do, but I may colour them with just ordinary pencils. See what it looks like both ways I think.

There's nothing wrong with sketching out with pencil before working into it with pen! I look forward to seeing the next ;)

what i've been doing lately is finishing the work in pencil and then scanning it in so i can color it that way. after i scan it in, i get colored pencils or my plain old graphite pencil and either shade or color it so i can have it both ways. good way to practice multiple mediums!

Great drawings, and right up my alley as I've been on a bit of a Pokemon binge with Omega Ruby and the original pokemon anime series on netflix. :)

Really well done, I instantly recognised them and love your take on them.

Yeah I think it’s what I’m going to do. I’d like to keep my original images. So if I ever want to use them again, I have a template so to say.

Thanks. Good choice with Omega Ruby there- @Sdillustrations although I could be slightly biased lol. I’m actually quite pleased with them, although sometimes I do tend to be a bit harsh on myself when it comes to my drawings, so hearing this praise is quite a boost to my skills.

Yeah, I like to see the contrast and difference. Plus I really need to consider whether to do a background? See what it looks like when I add more
