Note to self: searching anime cosplay for women in Amazon will give you pages of costumes that are so freaking sexualised omg. ALL I WANTED WAS SOME INSPIRATION :(

Well shit... guess i will be sticking with the trusty Monokuma cosplay for future conventions

that's a mega bummer :<

you'd think they wouldn't sexualize some because the character themselves aren't

Some aren't even of certain characters. You had the odd Rem costume but then a large majority would be maid outfits or a take on a maid outfit and I'm sat here like "did I ask for a maid outfit?? No I did not :/ stop giving me frilly crop tops and skirts"

Someone's always sexualizing something unfortunate.

I dont usually cosplay either but after wearing my Monokuma hoodie to last years Manchester AL con I somehow got a taste for it now i want to do more. Im thinking maybe Umaru from Himouto! Umaru-chan which will only require a hoodie/throw situation a white tee and some cheap cropped leggings. I tend to throw stuff cheap stuff together rather than buy a full on costume or make one XD
