Hi there,

I've been browsing through this forum and watching your art blossom and evolve (pokemon pun not intended) has been outstanding and inspiring.

You clearly are hardworker as your art displays and i look forward to seeing more of your art as i'm definitely an admirer of your line drawings.

Btw, are you also buying pokemon lets go? if so, Pikachu or Eevee?

thank you! :D

i'm getting myself into a more routine drawing pattern, and practicing a lot more study than fun, so i've had less and less pokemon drawings lately

i should come back and draw one and see how it goes

also, definitely getting eevee, love me some eevee

i post here every once in a while with a drawing i like, but most of mine are study pieces like still life or blind contours

i'm doing reddit's sketchdaily (where in, you get a theme, you draw the theme, you post the theme), but i've only been doing it for a few days

lot more shading and tortillion work there, as i really like gradients when it comes to shading

https://old.reddit.com/user/sketchdailyaccount29/ for a few of them. i'm going back and doing previous days too, so expect to see more

i'll try to post more stuff in here too though! i'll do a pokemon drawing today and post that

it's not my best, but i'm okay with it

legs and body need correction, but arms and head are pretty on point

value/shading is just alright, maybe i should try hatching/cross-hatching instead

but viola, wartortle! (one of my favorite pokemon)

also, reminding myself to draw from the shoulder was a pain on this one because it has so many tiny bits

elbow and shoulder are okay, but from what i've heard, shoulder is best

wrist is straight out

i definitely do better lines when i do a few warm-ups with my shoulder

only thing i don't like is how the stripes turned out

needed to be curved more to show a rounded body
