Yeah I've seen a few on Aliexpress they look nice, but decided to do as much as possible by myself or with help.

Ok so I have had a look around online and joy of joys have found two main methods of doing the detail on the new project.

Method A - Essentially as Komodo recommended to stretch the suit and white bits and sew on the additions before you bring them all together at the end. With the obvious con if you balls up its a arse to fix!

Method B - Put the white band and flaps onto the suit, put on the suit and then get someone else with art skills to use fabric pens to apply details. With the con that some fabric pens apparently run on some lycras and some can fade over time, so I'd have to test everything and the end result would depend on someone elses skill with a pen.

Decisions, decisions.

Lasts bits of Willows new Twilight Sparkle dress and wings have arrived at her Grannys and are being well hidden. Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle are going to Gloucester Comic Con.

[mention=52117]HowieHobbit[/mention] been Gloucester Comic Con last two days mate, you didn't miss loads was good fun though. Lots and lots of stalls and stuff in the hall they held in, some good celebs had most of the Red Dwarf cast and Wonder Womans body double which Willow loved. But the games room had only three machines and they didn't really have the room to do much else. Could probably see it all in a day to half a day depending on hows many of the guests you wanted to see if you come next year.

Finalised my shopping list for my Silk cosplay, now just got to wait for my next pay cheque to order the bits in (oh the joys of Christmas shopping for your daughter!) plus I've got a couple of people willing to lend a hand to help me make it.

Fingers crossed for a slow, steady and painless assembly period over Christmas and New Year!
