That's basically the entire idea behind this whole project. I always liked the concept and aesthetics of bishoujo visual novels, but never liked their very limited gameplay where all one had to do is clicking on screen and reading text. Instead of reading texts describing how you take your girlfriend to cafe, or reading texts describing how you ride a Ferris wheel together, I wanted to play a game where you actually take her to cafe, eat together, and then actually go to a theme park to ride a Ferris wheel.omfgzergrush wrote:wow, this game seems pretty detailed, most dating sims i see tend to be more of a visual novel style thing but this one's far more interactive
Back in 2008 ai sp@ce (Japanese MMO) promised exactly that. All the aesthetics and ideas of bishoujo visual novels, but transferred to interactive 3D world, where you could walk around and actually go on dates with your gf. Unfortunately, the project never became what it promised to be, quickly turned into yet another online shooter, and was shut down less than three years later.
Ever since, recreating the idea of ai sp@ce and developing it to its full potential became my (obsessive) dream.
