from what i know, if you're using the eraser to color/de-shade, you should have two to three erasers

electric is optional, but you want a good solid block one (first/second) that you can cut into bits (second/third) for the real fine stuff

an electric is great for precise control and small areas, but bad for wide areas and really, really fine bits

using all three would be ideal

(like i said, this is just what i know, not a master, and natty definitely has more experience in this area than i do)

Aw this is a really cute drawing, it's fantastic! Good attention to detail and you managed to make it all work without looking overdone. Really like the style you're developing with each piece of work!

Couple of points of feedback though. You could get a fine rubber and take off some of the overhanging lines where it looks like you've had to re-draw it. Also with outlines, where you've blended into the background you can re-trace the lines and help redefine, specifically on Sonic's hat.

Awesome thanks! Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I need to get a darker pencil for the lines. Plus I need to still invest in that eraser you mentioned.

Thanks :-) yeah was in a little bit of a rush with it- left it until the last minute, so I don’t think I paid enough attention to the finer details. But hey ho, I’m still learning :-)

Thank you for your kind words. I was trying to find something to draw for thanksgiving, and the sonic channel provided me with an image to try and draw.
