Hello! I am a newbie in cosplay, so I was planning on making a simple ish cosplay on Erza Scarlet and wanted to enroll to the cosplay contest in the end of August (I read about it but don't know how to participate). Just for the fun of it really :P Does anyone know anything about it and can help out?

If i remember correctly, for Alcon cosplay contest you can sign up around couple or so weeks before ( forms will be up here on forums)! and it all really depends how simple you want it to be :) and which outfit of hers you want to make :)
