speaking of hawaii, i made kalua pork a few weeks back in the slow cooker

can recommend if you like salt, but it's a recipe you may have to experiment with to find the best salt level, especially since alaea (hawaiian pink salt) is very strong

That actually sounds delicious.

Wish my Hawaiian coworkers were still in the area. They loved having barbecues, and they were pretty darn good at them

traditional hawaiian cooking is the tits, really

even poi is okay if it's prepared fresh (if it's not, the taste has been described as wallpaper paste, and that's remarkably accurate)

sometimes i get that itch to start up bleach/naruto again, but then i realize how long they both are and how unwilling i am to spend that much time getting reinvested in them unless i cut out like all the filler and half the uninteresting episodes

but i get it, naruto was a fun ride

bleach, considerably less so, but i still finished it

I always get stuck on that Bleach ark with the new guys testing them out. It. Is. Such. A. Bore.

I regret not getting Uchuu no Stellvia when I could have. Now it's such an old series the DVD's are so hard to find. I watch it like once a year. Have for a decade.

seriously, considering how filler has ruined the naruto anime

any time anyone asks me about watching it i always find them a list that cuts out the filler, 'cause i doubt kishimoto was consulted on those episodes, like how boruto isn't even written by him

Aeri wrote:I have a deep itch to watch cowboy bebop again....is it on hulu?

ye

get thee hence to hulu

oh man the worst part with that description is that you'd have to be more specific, i think they're two or three times that could qualify as "new guys testing them out" like the visored/vaizard training arc close to the middle or the fullbring arc near the end of the story. shounen's always gotta have a training arc or something, gotta power up for that next big bad

also, always thought stellvia of the universe looked like an interesting anime growing up, but never watched it (probably couldn't find a download in my YAR HAR HAR MATEYS days of anime watching)

i don't think i could watch it if i tried at this point, even though i want to, anime doesn't interest me much as a medium anymore, which i have mixed feelings about, but it's good you enjoy something that much to do it every year!

i try to play through majora's mask every year, that's my yearly thing
