Thank you for the kind comments
Sadly, as I wrote their, I wont be able to carry on with the model for a while because I am going on Holiday. So in fact, I'll probaly be gone till mid January. The only place I may be posting will be in the Literature forum area.
Anyway, see ya all till then. I am off to enjoy Japan, Korea and Malaysia. Write some stories in my pretty journal and take amazing photos and videos

Latest work includes remodelling and re texturing my L1A1 Rifle from before. Should look a lot nicer and more realistic, compared to before.

Hard to believe that's a virtual gun, it looks so realistic! Leather grip, metal parts embossed with text, signs of wear and tear, pits and subtle irregularities - excellent work!
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much Expendable. Happy you noticed all the details I went into.
So I have two projects going on at the same time as some might guess. One project is more guns and realistic architecture, my other project is hopefully a stylistic Inn.
I switch between the two in order to keep my interest going. Sometimes spending too long a time on one thing can lead to disinterest.
Anyway, here is that other project. Slowly working through this one of the building with the market stall.

Back to the FPS project for a little while, after this I'll return to my personal project.
So far I have made modular assets for a WW1 Trench Bunker. Here are the pieces.

Put together I can create seamless levels, such as this small corridor.

More pieces being made so that I can fill a room with tables, bunks and all sorts of things.

Thanks for the references. I tend to use Pinterest too. It usually has stuff that I wouldn't find on google images.
Anyway the actual concept piece I am working from for the Market stall is this one. As I plan to do the whole piece. Still has a lot of work to do, I don't like the rope, the textures are too washed out and other things, I will return to it after the trenchs are complete.

Also thank you very much for the reference for the Bunker, I hadn't found that one on my search. All the ones I had seen had supporting beams instead of cross-members. I'll be sure to make that into an asset once I get to it. This corridor was just an example of how the pieces fit together without anyone noticing they are made from several pieces.

Update on WW1 Trench Bunker
I modelled a bunkbed

Also modelled a generic table, chair and some ammo crates. Not all of which has been textured yet.

Finally just an example of how the level looks like so far. I've been told it will serve more as a selection screen for characters (like a garage for cars in racing games.)

Nice work! The bunkbeds look great! I also like the table and crates! The contrast between the textured and plain models help show the difference! Thanks for sharing!

Long time since last post. Been taking extra hours at work to save up money.
Anyway, Project 1, The Upturned Moon Inn, I have blocked out the ground floor, textured some and tested out some lighting.

And in Project 2, War Legacy, I have created a Lantern and used it to light the Dugout Environment
