This is great progress for sure! Hands are very difficult to draw and you'll probably have a hard time finding someone who will disagree lmao.
With hands, I find it a lot easier to work around each joint individually and link them up to each other, so don't do straight into drawing the whole finger in one ago. That way you can focus on how each finger is formed step by step. The shading is also coming a long really well, I can see you're gaining a lot more control over your lines which is a really difficult skill in itself. From here you can develop your mid-tones and help the light areas stand out. (sorry if this is stuff you already know!)

Ooh, I like that advice, actually. I know you're supposed to learn to breakdown the bone structure and muscle stucture in order to best get the appearance down, so working by joint helps. And thanks, I probably need to find my lighter pencils somewhere so I can shade a bit more effectively. (Even if it was stuff I already knew, reinforcement helps me!)

Indeed sound advice - hands are always difficult

Yeah, was the theme of the day for the Pokemon drawing event! I can draw more dragons if you want... but first:
Finally working on that Cosmog. Blending is actually much easier than I thought it'd be!
