Thanks everybody! And I don't really think I meant to make her eyes so intense, they just kinda turned out that way. ^^

This is a good start with the line work, and shade it if you feel like you want to! Your work is getting more accurate each time which is great to see.
Do you plan the eyes a lot while you're drawing? It might be helpful to do some rough planning to make sure the width and heights are the same, which does get very tricky with anime! Always good to work out the top and bottom of each eye so you don't go over that mark, and develop it with shading and the eyeliner.

I have been planning quite a bit, yeah. I did top and bottom, but not the spacing. I've been semi-cheating by zooming into an image till it's monitor sized (27'') and then measuring in real distance the important points like hairline, top of head, eye line, etc. And thanks! I do feel like I'm getting better at reproduction, which is really making me kinda giddy inside. I may not have the chance to draw here in a few days, but we'll see if I can't manage to shade her at least. No guarantees on quality at the moment.

Interesting eyes, very nicely done! I'd love to see more of the lines darker, so they stand out better.
Keep up the good work!

I'll work on tracing out the rest of whatever I work on next, how's that sound? I know it's harder to see some more subtle lines.

*gets the solvent* It's okay, we'll get you unstuck. We have the technology.
also!
Random hand/value study. I am definitely feeling like I'm getting better now. The fingers are wonked but the shading is on point for the most part.
