ouch! Did you try anchoring some wire to his head and shaping it, then mold your material around it to form the spike?

Oh...I never thought of doing that...thanks for the advice! I shall try it in future endeavours!

I am stopping by and not that I am a sonic fan, but that drawing in colour would look amazing. I showed my flat mate who happens to like Sonic and he thinks its awesome. Keep at it.
