Such as a plain burger, NO Salad or Gherkins! Is it just me or does it take them 5 times as long to serve you?!

It's just incredibly annoying, especially when you've got limited time to get served/eat as you've to be back from lunch break from work.

Anyone else had the same issue?

Absolute travesty! They can't do that but they are happy to serve ice water to pet ducks

It's the look on their faces when you ask for Extra mayo, extra cheese, extra salad and no meat. It gets me every time.

Not without good cause in some cases, when I was first diagnosed ASD in October 1999, I was posting on my Blog about it, some guy Googled me and found out, and told the world without my permission, some of the stuff they said to me is literally unrepeatable in civillised company.

I Just have to tolerate them because my sister in law's sister lives in the US (Portland, Oregon)

I'm gonna be so much more American now lol

i would suspect that's less an american issue and more a human issue

same, so it might be one of those difference for those of us across the pond from each other
cause yenno, while UK is the predominant userbase now, this site used have quite a mix from all over without any real hang ups about it all
but over here we def have to ask for all three separately
bet over here asking for extra salad would have them replace my fries with a side salad ;-;

In almost ten years in here I have never come across anyone with such hang-ups. And that is all I will say on that subject cuz it can't lead anywhere good and honestly I don't care.

I was wondering if "salad" meant all three. Then I was wondering if we have a word for all three. Fixin's?? That's all I can think of.
